Ekstraklasa 2006/07

The Orange Ekstraklasa 2007/08 was the 74th edition of the Polish top division in football . The season began on July 27, 2007 and ended on May 10, 2008. Wisła Krakow became Polish champions for the eleventh time.

16 teams played against each other twice over a total of 30 match days, divided into a first half and a second half. Four clubs were promoted from the first division in 2006/07: Ruch Chorzów , Jagiellonia Białystok , Polonia Bytom and Zagłębie Sosnowiec, who replaced the two relegated Wisła Płock and Pogoń Szczecin , as well as the two clubs Arka Gdynia and Górnik Łęczna, who had been punished by corruption .

The first sporting relegation was Widzew Łódź , the other three clubs Zagłębie Sosnowiec, Zagłębie Lubin and Korona Kielce were excluded from the game due to a corruption affair.
