The football club Veldidena 1919 is an Austrian football club from the state capital Innsbruck in Tyrol and was founded on July 1, 1919 as Royal Ulster Rifles Veldidena 1919 , making it the third oldest football club in Tyrol.

Veldidena is one of the two traditional associations of the old Innsbruck district of Wilten and has its origins in its name: Veldidena was the Roman settlement in the area of ​​today's district.

FC Veldidena Innsbruck, along with ATV Innsbruck , FC Germania Innsbruck , Innsbrucker SV , FC Rapid Innsbruck , and FC Wacker Innsbruck , is one of the clubs that founded the Gauverband Tirol, the forerunner of the Tyrolean Football Association , in 1919.

FC Veldidena Innsbruck took part in the 1919 qualifying tournament for the 1920/21 championship. There the Wilten failed at the 2nd selection of FC Rapid Innsbruck with 2-1 and had to play in the Tyrolean B-Class. There it was possible to move up to the A-Class in the following season. They stayed in the A-Class until the outbreak of the World War. FC Veldidena was able to celebrate third place twice and the club was runner-up four times. The crowning glory was in 1928, the year in which you won the Tyrolean championship for the first time and also for the last time

1938–1945: forced dissolution

Veldidena Innsbruck was forcibly dissolved in the summer of 1938, as were the other Tyrolean clubs Sturm Innsbruck, Reichsbahn Innsbruck, SK Wilten, pathfinder and Mühlau. From the chronicle of the SK Wilten it can be seen that the Tyrolean Football Association aimed to reduce the number of clubs. After the World War, the association resumed its activities.
