geography

Fougeré is about ten kilometers east of La Roche-sur-Yon . Fougeré is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Martin-des-Noyers in the north and northeast, Saint-Hilaire-le-Vouhis in the northeast, Bournezeau in the east, Thorigny in the south and La Chaize-le-Vicomte in the west.
