Grimberg is a district of Lohmar in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

Grimberg is in the middle of Lohmar. Surrounding towns and hamlets are Röttgen , Peisel and Hausen in the north, Alfenhard in the northeast, Deesem in the east, Breidt in the southeast, Kreuzhäuschen in the south, Ellhausen in the southwest, Naaferberg in the west and Kreuznaaf in the northwest.

Grimberg is surrounded by a circular forest, only south of Grimberg there is no forest.

In the west and east of Grimberg there is an unnamed orographic left tributary of the Naafbach . The Naafbach itself flows past Grimberg in the north.

history

Until August 1, 1969, the place belonged to the then independent municipality Halberg .

Attractions

The Naafbachtal , a species-rich nature reserve, is located northeast of Grimberg.
