1st verse Eminem

2nd stanza J-Black
3rd stanza Masta Ace

In Hellbound , Eminem, J-Black and Masta Ace, each in the role of the lyrical self , rap about the fact that because of their behavior they are on the way to hell anyway and therefore no longer have to struggle to get to heaven through good deeds . Eminem raps in detail about violence and cannibalism in his stanza , while J-Black's stanza deals with the Christian rules that he doesn't follow as he never goes to church, often has sex and drinks alcohol. Masta Ace describes himself as a "lost soul" and raps, among other things, about violence against women .

“I see the light at the end
But every time I take a step it gets dim
Tell me, is this Hell we're livin 'in?
If so, Heaven's got to be better
But if we're hellbound, whatever, let's go down ”

- Excerpt of the chorus from Hellbound
