Distribution of seats in the National Parliament of East Timor after the 2017 election

This list shows the members of parliament who were elected to the national parliament of East Timor in the elections on July 24, 2017 and who have moved up to parliament during the current legislative period. The order in this list corresponds to the MP's place on the party list. The parliament has 65 members.

The strongest force is the FRETILIN with 23 seats, followed by the Congresso Nacional da Reconstrução Timorense (CNRT) with 22 seats, the Partidu Libertasaun Popular (PLP) with eight seats, the Partido Democrático (PD) with seven seats and the KHUNTO with five seats. CNRT, PLP and KHUNTO have formed the Aliança da Maioria Parliamentary AMP since October 12, 2017 .

On January 26, 2018, President Guterres decided to dissolve Parliament.

All members of the government are required by law to give up their seats in parliament in favor of a replacement from the list. If a member of the government leaves the cabinet, he or she can return to parliament and the successor loses his mandate. MEPs who left parliament early or who were elected but did not take office are crossed out in the list.
