	Orphan Bridge	center	The Waisenbrücke was a stone bridge clad with red sandstone and connected Wallstrasse south of the Spree with today's Littenstrasse , formerly Neue Friedrichstrasse, north of the Spree . After the blasting in 1945 and subsequent makeshift repairs, the structure was dismantled in 1960 because there were other functional Spree crossings in the vicinity. Today, stone abutments still visible on both sides remind of the orphan bridge.	cards

	Wall bridge	Spandau	The wall bridge leads the street Stabholzgarten over the Mühlengraben to Breite Straße. The straight concrete beam construction is almost 10 meters long and 14 meters wide. On both sides it is equipped with simple iron bar railings.	cards
	Walter Röber Bridge	Healthy well	The Walter Röber Bridge leads the Wiesenstrasse over the Panke . It is 12 m long, 20 m wide and has an Art Nouveau-style wrought-iron railing. The road bridge was named in honor of the former SPD politician and Weddingen district mayor Walter Röber (1894–1964). There is a memorial stone to the Weddinger Blutmai next to the bridge (lower picture).	cards
	Waltraudstrasse Bridge	Dahlem / Zehlendorf	The Waltraudstrasse Bridge leads Waltraudstrasse over the subway line U3 running in an incision . It is on the border of Dahlem and Zehlendorf between the Oskar-Helene-Heim and Onkel Toms Hütte underground stations . The bridge fronts are clad with red clinker bricks . 	Waterloo Bridge	Kreuzberg	The Waterloo Bridge leads the Alexandrinenstraße over the Landwehr Canal . Originally, the Waterloo Ufer, laid out in 1866, led to Alexandrinenstrasse; In 1956 the part of the bank between Zossener Bridge and Waterloo Bridge was renamed Brachvogelstraße, but the bridge kept its name after the battle of Waterloo . The original bridge from 1890/91 was destroyed in 1945 and rebuilt in 1956/57 as an arch bridge with an arch under the roadway. The span is 18 meters, the width 19 meters.	cards
	Wegedornbrücke, also: Teltowkanalbrücke, and (pipeline bridge)	Adlershof	The Wegedorn Bridge, often referred to as the Teltow Canal Bridge, leads the Wegedornstraße across the canal. The girder bridge made of prestressed concrete was built in 1989 and connects Adlershof with Altglienicke as a replacement for the defunct Wredebrücke (No. 48) . The bridge is named like the road after the buckthorn . In 2003, a new pipeline bridge with a span of 40 m was integrated into the Wegedorn bridge for 50,000 euros. The pressurized water pipe previously crossed the canal as a culvert . The consoles of the steel truss bridge are attached to the abutments of the road bridge. 	(Footbridge over the Kupfergraben weir )	center	This metal bridge, which was probably built for inspection purposes and under the responsibility of the Berlin Waterways Authority, connects Unterwasserstraße with Friedrichsgracht. 	Weidendammer Bridge	center	The Weidendammer Bridge has led Friedrichstrasse over the Spree since the 17th century , making it the third oldest bridge in the old Berlin city center. 	Weltlinger Bridge	Charlottenburg-North	The Weltlingerbrücke leads the Heckerdamm over the A-111 -autobahn feeder, which runs parallel to the Kurt-Schumacher-Damm . The bridge is named after the former senior president of the Berlin House of Representatives Siegmund Weltlinger (1886–1974).	cards
	Wendenheidebrücke	Koepenick	The Wendenheidebrücke leads the Spindlersfelder Straße (north-south) in the course of the tangential connection east over the Oberspreestraße (west-east). The name was chosen after the neighboring settlement of Wendenheide. The bridge is an arched bridge with four ramps to Oberspreestrasse. Work on the construction of the bridge began in March 2006 and it was completed, including the ramps, on schedule in mid-2007.	cards

	(Work bridge)	Tempelhof	The nameless bridge, unofficially called “Werkbrücke”, connects Standard Elektrik Lorenz systems east of the port of Tempelhof over the Teltow Canal (kilometer 23.68) on both sides of the waterway . It mainly serves the internal transport of goods and traffic. The steel girder bridge , built around 1920 in the form of a cove bridge, lies 11.50 m above the canal and has two lanes. Like almost all Teltow Canal bridges, the Werkbrücke, sometimes referred to as the "Lorenzsteg", was blown up by the German Wehrmacht before the end of the war in 1945 . It was rebuilt around 1950.	cards

	Vienna Bridge	Alt-Treptow / Kreuzberg	From 1896 it connected Wiener Strasse with Wiesenufer and, after its construction, with An der Wiener Brücke (later Liststrasse, then Graetzstrasse, today Karl-Kunger-Strasse ) over the Landwehr Canal . 	Wildenbruch Bridge	Neukölln	The cage arch bridge made of solid masonry leads Wildenbruchstrasse at Wildenbruchplatz over the Neukölln shipping canal and connects the Kiehl and Weigand banks . The bridge, the street and the square bear the name of the playwright Ernst von Wildenbruch. On the masts of the four bridge lanterns, metal ornaments with the three components of the Neukölln coat of arms ( Johanniterkreuz , Märkischer Adler , Hussitenkelch ) are attached under the lamp rings . At the bridge there is a pier for passenger ships and a street café. A rarity among Berlin's bridge structures is the former public toilet facility in the southern bridge pillar, which is well known in the Wildenbruchkiez and is now used once a year for 48 hours in Neukölln and by “Kunstraum t27” for artist presentations.	cards

	Wilhelm Borgmann Bridge	Britz	The Wilhelm Borgmann Bridge is a road bridge over the Teltow Canal . It leads the Tempelhofer Weg over the canal at kilometer 26.26 between the Treseburger Ufer and the Braunschweiger Ufer. A first bridge was built there in 1905 as part of the construction of the Teltow Canal. Today's steel girder bridge was built between 1952 and 1953. It was named after Wilhelm Borgmann (born September 16, 1866, † January 13, 1927) a former judicial officer in the Teltow district .	cards
	Wilhelm Spindler Bridge	Koepenick	The Wilhelm-Spindler-Brücke is a prestressed concrete bridge in the Treptow-Köpenick district and was built in 2002 as part of the Tangentiale Connection East construction project . 	Wredebrücke	Johannisthal / Rudow	The Wredebrücke, locally also called Rudower Bridge , was a road bridge over the Teltow Canal at kilometer 34.140 of the artificial waterway. It led Rudower Chaussee (Köpenicker Strasse until 1959) across the canal. Today the A 113 motorway bridge is located exactly at this point . The bridge was named after the banker and manufacturer Wilhelm August Julius Wrede (1822–1895), owner of the Britz estate .	cards
	Wuhletalbrücke (n)	Marzahn	The two-part parallel road bridge (total width around 20 meters, length around 40.5 meters) leads Märkische Allee over Wuhletalstrasse . It was built in the 1970s. At the beginning of the 2000s, a load of more than 40,000 vehicles was counted daily. In 2018, routine tests showed that the concrete had concrete cancer . The Senate Traffic Administration initially reduced the traffic and thus the load on vehicles that weigh no more than 3.5 tonnes (into town)  ; the road out of town was completely closed. Repairs are no longer economically justifiable, which is why a new building will be built (by 2023). In preparation, the bridge was completely closed from June 3, 2019 and the demolition of the damaged bridge parts began. Since then, traffic has been routed via the entrances and exits to the Wuhletalstrasse below and regulated with construction site lights. To the west parallel to this road bridge is a nameless railway bridge, which consists of three parallel supporting structures. The railway bridge construction is around 50 meters long and a total of 15 meters wide. The entrances and exits between Wuhletalstrasse and Märkische Allee run between parts of the road and railway bridge.	Road width cards
	Wullenwebersteg	Moabit / Hansaviertel	The Wullenwebersteg is a pedestrian bridge over the Spree in Berlin, which connects the Hansaviertel and Moabit. It was built in 1956 and 1957. The bridge was named after the Hanseatic mayor Jürgen Wullenweber (1492–1537).	cards
