In the forests and water-rich landscapes of Brandenburg , numerous tourist cycle routes were laid out or expanded in the years around the turn of the millennium . These are mostly guided on separate cycle paths or cycle roads and are often reserved exclusively for cyclists and skaters . In many places, agricultural transport routes or converted railway lines are also part of the route profile.
Brandenburg's cycle routes
Brandenburg's cycle routes are divided into purely inner-city, regional and supra-regional as well as national and European cycle routes. On the latter, Brandenburg is crossed as a transit country , including some D-Netz routes . Regional and supraregional cycle routes run predominantly within the federal state, they can be designed as circular routes. Supraregional routes are characterized by the cooperation of several districts . Purely inner-city cycle routes for everyday use are not covered in this list .
