geography
The municipality of Morschwiller-le-Bas on the southern edge of the Dollertal borders immediately to the west of the Mülhausen district of Dornach. Since the 1970s, many companies have settled in new industrial areas because of the location on the A 36 autoroute and the European road 512 that crosses it . The proximity to Mulhouse and the job opportunities also ensured a construction boom. Outside the old village center, which gives an idea of the former agricultural character, the community is today a typical suburb with numerous service companies.
