Saint-Georges-du-Bois is located about 32 kilometers east of La Rochelle in the historic Aunis region . Saint-Georges-du-Bois is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Benon in the north and north-west, Saint-Pierre-d'Amilly in the north-east, Saint-Saturnin-du-Bois in the east, Surgères in the south and Vouhé in the west.
