The location is on the street of the same name south of Broich .

history

The settlement was built after the Second World War on an old connecting route between Broich and Röttgen for displaced Silesians. The sun part of the name was a symbol of a new beginning. From this time on, the location is shown on all official maps. More houses were added in the 1960s and 1970s.
