Heidmannsaul was a place to live in the municipality of Kürten in the Rheinisch-Bergisches Kreis .

Location and description

The place was in the Dürschtal near Klefhaus on the border of the communities of Kürten and Lindlar with the city of Overath . Today there is the street Parborn , where a fish farm is operated.

The Alemigssiefen flows into the Dürschbach there .

history

The place is already marked on the topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1824, but not given a name. On the Prussian new recording from 1892 the place is recorded as Heidmannsaul . It is still shown on the topographic map TK 25 from 1913, but not on the one from 1933 after the expansion of Dürschtalstraße (today's L 298).

The place, which was categorized as an isolated house in 1845 according to the overview of the government district of Cologne , had a residential building at that time. At that time there were eight people living in the village, all of whom were Catholic. Heidmannsaul belonged to the mayor's office of Kürten in the Wipperfürth district .

The municipal and Gutbezirksstatistik the Rhine Province leads Heidmannsauel 1871 with a dwelling house and five residents. In the municipality lexicon for the province of Rhineland from 1888, a house with four inhabitants is given for the place Heidmannsauel written here .
