Žabovřesky nad Ohří (German Schaborschesk ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located twelve kilometers west of Roudnice nad Labem on the Eger and belongs to the Okres Litoměřice .
geography
The village is on the left of the Eger. State road 246 between Louny and Roudnice nad Labem runs through Žabovřesky . The railway between Libochovice and Mšené-lázně , where there is a train stop, runs north of the village .
Neighboring towns are Chotěšov in the north, Břežany nad Ohří in the east, Budyně nad Ohří and Roudníček in the southeast, Kostelec nad Ohří in the south, Radovesice in the west and Hájek in the northwest.
history
The village, first mentioned in 1336, belonged to the Budyně nad Ohří rule until the patrimonial rule was replaced in 1848 .
