Krabčice (German Krabsitz ) is a municipality with 904 (August 28, 2006) inhabitants in the Ústecký kraj region , Czech Republic .

location

The place is located southeast of the town of Roudnice nad Labem at the foot of the legendary mountain Říp .

history

The place was first mentioned in writing in 1226. In 1273 the place belonged to the monastery in Doksany . In the last third of the 16th century Wilhelm von Rosenberg bought the village, after the Rosenbergs died out, it fell to the Lobkowicz family . Krabčice remained in their possession until the beginning of the 19th century.
