history
It was first mentioned in 1226 when King Ottokar I Přemysl donated half of the village belonging to the Budyně nad Ohří rule to the Doksany monastery . At the transition from the 15th to the 16th century, the lords of Ileburg on Charvatce owned the upper part of Dušníky. After several changes of ownership, the abbot of the Doksany monastery, Norbert Hofmann, bought the upper village of Dorotá Smrčková on March 12, 1658. The first schoolhouse was built in 1796.
During the Napoleonic Wars, the manor was used as a hospital and a cemetery was created, which is reminiscent of the chapel on the road to Nížebohy. In 1832, 21 people died in a cholera epidemic. In 1913 the new school was inaugurated and in 1920 the village had 403 inhabitants.
