During the Hussite Wars , the provost's office and with it Kostomlath were withdrawn from the Augustinians. It was only during the tenure of Provost Michael Czacheritz that the Glatzer Propstei received Kostomlath back in 1475. The return was made by Duke Heinrich d. Ä. mediated, who inherited the county of Glatz after the death of his father Georg von Podiebrad in 1471 . On March 15, 1575, Emperor Maximilian II, in his capacity as King of Bohemia, exchanged the Kostomlath estate for the village of Altwilmsdorf near Glatz, which had previously been owned by the sovereign .
