history
Horní Řepčice was founded in 1057 in the course of the establishment of the collegiate monastery of St. Stefan in Litoměřice by Duke Spytihněv II. The place belonged to the Leitmeritz cathedral provost and was later divided between the rule Třeboutice and the ecclesiastical property in Old Thein . After the estate in the Třeboutice part was abolished, the corridors were divided and leased around 1790. In 1830 there were 218 people in the entire village. In 1880 there were 208 inhabitants who lived mainly from agriculture. In addition to field cultivation, fruit and hops cultivation traditionally played an important role. The school location was Sobenitz.
At the turn of the 1920s and 1930s, the Ploskovice - Horní Řepčice hill climb ended in Horní Řepčice (4 km, height 94 m, max. 9%). In 1931 Heinrich Joachim von Morgen won this race in a Bugatti T35B. In 1932 Paul Pietsch , also on a Bugatti T35B.
In 1981 it was incorporated into Liběšice and since the 1990s the place has been independent again.
