Dolánky nad Ohří (German Dolanek , older also Dolan , Dolas ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located eight kilometers south of Litoměřice on the Eger and belongs to the Okres Litoměřice .
geography
The village is on the right side of the Eger at the foot of the 209 m high Skála hill. State road 608 between Terezín and Doksany runs through Dolánky . One and a half kilometers north of the railway runs from Lovosice to Roudnice nad Labem , where the next train stop is in Hrdly.
Neighboring towns are Hrdly in the north, Oleško in the northeast, Skála and Rohatce in the southeast, Doksany in the south, Brozany nad Ohří and Rochov in the southwest and Brňany and Bohušovice nad Ohří in the northwest.
history
On the basis of excavation finds, a Celtic settlement from the time up to 300 BC. Be proven.
Dolanky was first documented in 1057 in the founding of the collegiate St. Stefan in Litoměřice by Duke Spytihněv II. On the opposite bank of the Eger was at that time the village Pelesch, the Přemysl Otakar I in 1226 the monastery Doksany donated. Below Dolánky, on the river, was the place Dolany, whose owner before 1400 was the Leitmeritz castellan Bleha.
When the Eger floods in 1461, Pelesch was torn away by the floods and Dolany was abandoned because of its location in the floodplain.
In 1900 there were 647 people living in Dolánky.
