history
Radoves was mentioned for the first time in 1237 in a document from Wenceslas I. Since the 13th century the village has belonged to the Hasenburg . The inhabitants lived from agriculture and in particular from hop growing, which has been documented since 1404. The owners were the Zajíc von Hasenburg from 1336 to 1564 . They were followed by Lobkowitz until 1594 , who established the Libochovice manor. In 1606 Sigismund Báthory acquired the place and in 1610 the Sternberg family followed , who also became the owners of the Budyně nad Ohří estate . During their and their successors, the Dietrichstein rule, the village belonged alternately to Libochovice and Budyně.
In 1631 the whole village burned down, another local fire occurred in 1701. In the 18th century a bridge was built over the Eger.
After the replacement of patrimonial Radovesice became an independent municipality in 1848.
