Dommartin is a French municipality with 170 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Nièvre in the region of Bourgogne Franche-Comté (before 2016 Burgundy ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Château-Chinon (Ville) and the canton of Château-Chinon (until 2015 Château-Chinon (Ville) ).

Dommartin is about 50 kilometers east-northeast of Nevers . Dommartin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Blismes in the north, Châtin in the northeast, Saint-Hilaire-en-Morvan in the east, Sermages in the south, Saint-Péreuse in the west and Dun-sur-Grandry in the west and north-west.
