Guerville is a French commune with 2,144 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Yvelines in the region Ile-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Mantes-la-Jolie and the canton of Bonnières-sur-Seine (until 2015: capital of the canton of Guerville ). The inhabitants are called guervillois .
geography
Guerville is located on the left bank of the Seine , about 45 kilometers west-northwest of Paris . Guerville is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Limay in the north and northwest, Porcheville in the north and northeast, Mézières-sur-Seine in the east, Bouville-en-Mantois in the southeast, Arnouville-lès-Mantes in the south, Breuil-Bois-Robert in the southwest, Auffreville-Brasseuil in the west and Mantes-la-Ville in the northwest.
The A13 autoroute runs through the municipality from Caen to Paris.
