Hoven is a district of Lohmar in the Rhein-Sieg district in North Rhine-Westphalia .
geography
Hoven is in the north-west of Lohmar. Surrounding villages are Durbusch in the west, Breide, Boddert, Unterdahlhaus in the northwest, Dahlhaus in the north, Halfensbüchel, Schneppensiefen, Brambach in the northeast, Kombach, Bombach and Breideneichen in the east, Stöcken in the southeast and Jexmühle and Honrath in the south.
The Dahlhauser Bach flows north of Hoven and flows into the Agger on the orographic right . The Jexmühlenbach rises to the west of Hoven and a nameless stream to the southeast, both of which also flow into the Agger on the right.
history
In 1885 Hoven had 48 residents who lived in nine houses.
According to an address book from 1901, four farm workers , a carpenter , a bricklayer and a shoemaker lived in the village of Hoven .
Until August 1, 1969, the place belonged to the previously independent municipality Inger .
