Indian national cricket team in South Africa in the 1992/93 season
The tour of the Indian national cricket team to South Africa in the 1992/93 season took place from November 13, 1992 to January 6, 1993. The international cricket tour was part of the 1992/93 international cricket season and included four tests and seven ODIs . South Africa won the Test Series 1–0, while the ODI Series 5–2.
prehistory
India previously played a tour in Zimbabwe , for South Africa it was the first tour of the season. The last meeting of the two teams took place in the 1991/92 season in India . The tour was the first international cricket tour on South African soil after the apartheid boycott of South Africa.
