Katharina Burowa

Katharina Burowa (* 1978 in the Soviet Union ) is a German actress and radio play speaker as well as a singer of Russian - Persian origin.

Life

Katharina Burowa was born in 1978 to Russian-Persian parents. At an unknown point in time, the family moved to Hamburg . She completed her acting training at the Gmelin Drama School in Munich , and vocal training (alto voice) with Markus Goritzki at the Munich Opera . After that, she had various theater engagements, for example at the Teamtheater Munich ( play of love and chance , Leonardo knew it , Cyrano de Bergerac ), at the Badisches Staatsschauspiel Karlsruhe ( The Gypsy Carriage ), at the Mayen Castle Festival ( A Midsummer Night's Dream ) and in the Berliner Ensemble ( The Judith von Shimoda ), took on various supporting roles in video clips , short films , television and feature films . She has also worked for around 20 productions for DLR , WDR and Radio Bremen as a radio play speaker .

As a native speaker, who is more in line with the Russian cliché with a conscious accent, she is usually adequately cast for this type, for example in the radio play Who turns around or laughs ... by John von Düffel , in which she is a Russian repatriate Katharina plays.
