Kurl-Husen is the statistical district 24 of the urban city of Dortmund . It is located in the northeast of the city and belongs to the district of Scharnhorst .

The statistical district consists of the two districts Husen and Kurl . Both belonged to the Dortmund district when they were incorporated on April 1, 1928.

Contrary to what the name of the statistical district seems to suggest, the population calls this area Husen-Kurl .

In addition to Husen and Kurl, Fleier , which until 1928 belonged to the municipality of Asseln, also belongs to the statistical district.
