Jungferntal-Rahm is the statistical district 83 of the urban city of Dortmund . It is located in the west of the city and belongs to the Huckarde district . The statistical district today consists of the two districts of Rahm and Jungferntal .

The Jungferntal settlement was established in 1956 on the area of ​​the former parishes of Kirchlinde and Rahm . Meanwhile, Jungferntal has exceeded the number of Rahms many times over.

As early as June 10, 1914, Rahm, and on April 1, 1928, Kirchlinde was also incorporated into Dortmund. Both communities belonged to the Dortmund district until they were dissolved .
