List of Members of the Lower Austrian Parliament (VI legislative period)
This list of the members of the Lower Austria state parliament (VI. Legislative period) lists all members of the Lower Austria state parliament during the VI. Legislative period, with the legislative period ranging from November 10, 1954 to June 4, 1959. After the state elections of October 17, 1954 , 30 of the 56 seats went to the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) and 23 seats to the Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ), with the SPÖ winning one seat from the ÖVP. The Communist Party of Austria (KPÖ) joined in 1954 as the electoral community of the Austrian People's Opposition (VO) and again achieved 3 seats. The state parliament elected the state government Steinböck III on November 10, 1954 .

Landtag Presidium
ÖVP politician Hans Sassmann was the first president of the state parliament presidency. The office of second president of the state parliament was again taken over by the SPÖ member Josef Wondrak , the third state president was Johann Endl , as in the previous period .
