List of advisory surgeons in the Wehrmacht
In the Wehrmacht, the advisory surgeons supported the armed forces and army commanders. As designated surgeons and reserve officers, they had a decisive influence on basic medical service decisions during World War II. It was an honorary duty for chair holders to make themselves or senior physicians available.
