List of IndyCar / ChampCar racetracks

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The list of IndyCar / ChampCar racetracks includes all tracks that have been driven by an IndyCar or predecessor car in a race of the American Automobile Association (AAA) , USAC Championship Car Series (USAC) , Championship Auto since the first race in 1909 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway Racing Teams (CART) , Champ Car World Series (CCWS) , Indy Racing League (IRL) or IndyCar Series (ICS) . The tracks of these racing series are composed very differently. There are oval tracks , from short tracks under 1 mile to speedways up to 2 miles to super speedways over 2 miles, as well as street courses. The street courses are divided into permanent race tracks and temporary tracks on partly public roads.
