List of German-Danish town and municipality partnerships

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The list shows the town and municipality partnerships between Germany and Denmark without claiming to be exhaustive. After the administrative reform on January 1, 2007 , when 271 municipalities were amalgamated into 98 municipalities, the city and municipality partnerships were reduced by almost half. While the number of twin towns (venskabsbyer) was previously over 900, after 2007 the Danish municipalities only entered into a total of 507 partnerships.
