In 1815 the former Luxembourg area east of the Sauer and Our was assigned to the Kingdom of Prussia at the Congress of Vienna . With this, Nasingen came to the Bitburg district in the Trier administrative district in 1816 and was initially administered by the Lahr mayor and later by the Neuerburg mayor . After the First World War temporarily occupied by the French , the place has been part of the then newly formed state of Rhineland-Palatinate since 1946 .

coat of arms
Blazon : "Under a silver-red shield head divided by two battlements in silver a black plow, in a blue shield base a three-pronged golden crown." | |
Justification of the coat of arms: The affiliation to the County of Vianden is indicated by red and silver. At the behest of the local council, a plow is to be carried in the broad heart bar of the coat of arms; it stands for the agricultural character of the place through centuries and still today. In the base of the shield, the crown symbolizes the Queen of Mary, patron saint and patroness of the Nasingen Chapel, a branch of Koxhausen (today Neuerburg-Ammeldingen-Karlshausen-Koxhausen-Rodershausen parish community). The blue stands for the waters like Berscheider / Geichlinger Bach. The Geckler Bach, Muxerather Bach, for abundance of wells and natural biotopes. |
Buildings
The place has a village community center and a Catholic chapel that belongs to the parish of Koxhausen. A listed courtyard on Dorfstrasse and a restored bakery are privately owned.
