Oberndorf is a municipality in the Donnersbergkreis in Rhineland-Palatinate . It belongs to the Nordpfälzer Land association.

Geographical location

The place is in the Alsenz valley north of the Palatinate Forest . To the north is Alsenz , south mannweiler-cölln . The Lindenhof residential area also belongs to Oberndorf .

history

Oberndorf was first mentioned in a document in 1128. As early as 775, however, the Upper Village was mentioned in connection with Alsenz .
