The parish fair is held annually on the third weekend in September. The highlight is the big street parade on Sunday. In August the cycling day takes place in the Appelbachtal . The carnival is also traditionally held by the FSV Münsterappel as part of a "cap meeting" on the carnival weekend on Saturdays from 8:11 pm. For many years the meeting has been a popular contact point for friends of the foolish guild far beyond the local borders. In Münsterrappel there is a football club FSV Münsterappel and since the beginning of 2007 the first German kite park, Kite Landboarding. There is also the Münsterappel volunteer fire brigade .
