The 1st Lig 1969/70 was the twelfth season of the highest Turkish league in men's football . It began on September 20, 1969 and ended on June 17, 1970.

Fenerbahçe Istanbul became Turkish champions for the sixth time. The showpiece was the defense around the new goalkeeper Ilie Datcu . The team conceded only six goals this season.
