The Ski Jumping World Cup 1992/93 (official name: FIS World Cup Ski Jumping 1992-1993 ) was one of the International Ski Federation FIS between 5 December 1992 and 28 March 1993 to 15 different locations in Europe and Asia discharged series of competitions in ski jumping . Originally, the implementation of 21 individual competitions and two team competitions was planned. Four individual competitions had to be canceled without replacement, so that 17 individual competitions and two team competitions were included in the rating. Austria's Andreas Goldberger won the overall standings this season , followed by Czech Jaroslav Sakala and Japanese Noriaki Kasai in second and third place . The Finnish defending champion Toni Nieminen finished in 50th place. The ski flying competition was won by the Czech Jaroslav Sakala ahead of the French Didier Mollard and Andreas Goldberger. The Austrian defending champion in this discipline, Werner Rathmayr , took sixth place. The national championship was won by defending champion Austria ahead of Japan and Norway .
