Sri Lankan national cricket team in India in the 2009-10 season
The Sri Lankan national cricket team tour to India in the 2009/10 season took place from November 11th to December 27th, 2009. The international cricket tour was part of the 2009/10 international cricket season and included three test matches , five ODIs and two Twenty20s . India won the Test series 2-0 and the ODI series 3-1, the Twenty20 series finished 1-1.
prehistory
India previously played a tour against Australia , for Sri Lanka it was the first tour of the season after the ICC Champions Trophy 2009 . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in Sri Lanka in the 2008/09 season . For security reasons, the second ODI was relocated from Visakhapatnam to Nagpur at short notice .
