T in the Park 2011 was a three day music festival held from July 8, 2011 to July 10, 2011 in Balado , Kinross , Scotland as the eighteenth edition of the T in the Park festival.

The full program was presented in February 2011: The Arctic Monkeys , Coldplay , Beyoncé and the Foo Fighters were named as headliners. Blink-182 were confirmed, but canceled because they were unable to produce their new album during the tour.

The festival had earned a reputation over the years for its high number of "neds" ( ned is Scottish slang for hooligan , booze, and petty criminals ). Organizer Geoff Ellis told the BBC during the setup of the 2011 event that " Neds are not welcome," adding that "It's not about what you wear, it just covers who you are. Look, you can be a ned in a suit. "

tickets

As in previous years, the first early bird tickets were offered shortly after the end of the T in the Park 2010 festival on July 15, 2010. From December 3, 2010, the Christmas advance ticket sales were opened, with the tickets being sold out within 24 hours. The last tickets were sold out on February 25, 2011 within an hour.
