Film production

The feature film Rock in the Park was filmed live at T in the Park 2010 . The film tells the story of the lead singers of the two (fictional) bands - played by Luke Treadaway and Natalia Tena - who are handcuffed together before their performances. The film features short appearances by various artists and bands at the 2010 festival: Paolo Nutini , Biffy Clyro , The Proclaimers , Calvin Harris , Paloma Faith , Newton Faulkner (who has a brief appearance), Al Green , Jo Mango (who also has a brief appearance) , Heather Suttie , Kassidy and The View .

The 2010 festival was filmed for five days for Rock im Park . When the film was shot on location, the cast and crew had to constantly react to their surroundings and the performances. The cast and crew camped backstage on the festival site. The film was cut every day after filming for the day as the scenes could not be re-shot after the festival ended. Director David Mackenzie said one of the reasons for casting the lead roles was the musical experience of Treadaway and Tena. Two of the songs in the film were written Treadaway and Tena.

transport

DF Concerts (T in the Park promoter) signed a new £ 3,000,000 contract with Scottish Citylink to continue its role as Official Transport Operator (since 2000) through 2015.
