West Indies cricket team in New Zealand in the 2005-06 season

The West Indies cricket team tour to New Zealand in the 2005/06 season took place from February 16 to March 29, 2006. The international cricket tour was part of the 2005/06 international cricket season and included three tests , five ODIs and one Twenty20 . New Zealand won the Test Series 2–0, the ODI Series 4–1 and the Twenty20 Series 1–0.

prehistory

New Zealand previously played a tour against Sri Lanka , the West Indies in Australia . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2002 season in the West Indies .
