The tour of India's national cricket team to Pakistan in the 2005/06 season took place from January 13 to February 19, 2006. The international cricket tour was part of the 2005/06 international cricket season and included three tests and five ODIs . Pakistan won the test series 1–0, while India won the ODI series 4–1.

prehistory

Pakistan previously played a tour against England , India against Sri Lanka . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in India in the 2004/05 season .
