Cugny is about 14 kilometers southwest of Saint-Quentin on the Sommette . Cugny is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Ollezy in the north, Annois in the east, La Neuville-en- bein in the south, Beaumont-en-bein in the west and southwest and Sommette-Eaucourt in the west and northwest.
