Dallon is a French municipality with 436 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Aisne department in the region of Hauts-de-France ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Quentin and the canton of Ribemont (until 2015: canton of Saint-Simon ). The inhabitants are called Dallonois .

geography

Dallon is located about four kilometers southwest of Saint-Quentin in the Noyonnais and on the Canal de Saint-Quentin and on the Somme , which borders the municipality in the southeast. Dallon is surrounded by the neighboring communities Francilly-Selency in the north, Saint-Quentin in the east, Grugies in the south-east, Castres in the south and south-east, Fontaine-lès-Clercs in the west and south-west and Savy in the west.
