Folleville Parish Church

The parish church of Saint-Jean-Baptiste has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage " Camino de Santiago in France" since 1998 . It consists of two clearly distinguishable components. The nave - re-consecrated in 1522 after a renovation in the late 15th century - is consecrated to the Apostle James , the much larger choir was built between 1512 and 1518 as a stately chapel and bears the name of John the Baptist .

A statue of James is attached to one of the pillars in the nave. In the choir is a tomb of Raoul de Launoy and his wife (1507–1508) designed by Antonio della Porta from Porlezza and Pace Gaggini from Bissone .

Above the village there is a ruined castle from the 14th century.
