NGC 3058 = IC 573 is a spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sc in the constellation Hydra south of the ecliptic . It is an estimated 326 million light years from the Milky Way and about 125,000 light years in diameter. It interacts with the galaxy PGC 34424677 ( NGC 3058A ).
In the same area of ​​the sky is u. a. the galaxy NGC 3030 .

The property was discovered by Francis Preserved Leavenworth on May 6, 1886 .
