coat of arms
Both previous municipalities had a municipality coat of arms. Due to the amalgamation of municipalities, these lost their official validity on January 1st, 2015.
The new municipal
coat of arms for the merged community took effect on March 10, 2017. According to the agreements made during the merger talks between the two old communities, the old Kirchbach coat of arms should be retained, but it had to be adapted to the strict heraldic rules. The changed blazon reads:
- "In a red shield on a golden hill in gold with spread legs standing a young, beardless farmer in a belted thigh-length tunic, trousers and high heels, on the belt on the right a sack with the handle of a knife protruding, in the raised right a sickle with an inward turned Cutting edge holding five ears in the left; the figure is underlaid with a lowered silver, blue-flooded wave bar.
