Saint-Felix church

Since January 1, 2016, Laissac-Sévérac l'Église has been a new French municipality with 2,120 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Aveyron department in the Occitanie region . The municipality was created by merging the two municipalities Laissac and Sévérac-l'Église. Administratively it belongs to the Arrondissement of Rodez and is part of the canton Lot et Palanges (until 2015: canton Laissac ). The people of Laissac are called Laissaguais .

Laissac-Sévérac l'Église is located about 20 kilometers east-northeast of Rodez on the Aveyron . The district of Sévérac l'Église is about three kilometers southeast of Laissac. Laissac-Sévérac l'Église is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Palmas d'Aveyron in the north, Vimenet in the north, Gaillac-d'Aveyron in the east and north-east, Ségur in the south and south-east, Arques in the south-east and Bertholène in the west and north-west.

The national route 88 runs through the municipality .
