List of the European Cup finals of German clubs
The list of the European Football Cup finals of German clubs includes all the finals, the three European Cup competitions hosted by UEFA , the UEFA Champions League (formerly the European Cup), the European Cup Winners' Cup and the UEFA Europa League (formerly the UEFA Cup) German club participation, including the former Football association of East Germany since the 1955/56 season. Since there has only been one competition in women's football so far and all but four finals were held with German participation, a sub-section for women was dispensed with. In the course of the 64-year history of the European Cup, 15 different German clubs have reached a total of 43 European Cup finals, with a purely German final in the 1979/80 UEFA Cup and the 2012/13 UEFA Champions League. Nine clubs won a total of nineteen titles.
