The village is located about 23 kilometers north-west of Brescia on the 4.5 square kilometer island of Monte Isola , but also includes the very small surrounding islands Isola di Loreto in the north and Isola di San Paolo in the southwest, and part of the surrounding water surface of Lake Iseo with around 7.7 km². This gives the official total area of the municipality of 12.22 km². In the west, the municipality in the lake (“wet border”) borders directly on the province of Bergamo . The administrative center of the municipality is located in the district of Siviano in the northwest of the island.
