Navia is a city in the west of the Autonomous Community of Asturias and the capital of the Concejos of the same name .

The city is located inland on the Bay of Biscay , halfway between Gijón and Galicia and can be reached, among other things, via the A8 coastal motorway. At Navia the river Navia flows into the Atlantic , the highest point is the Panondres with 842 msnm .
