Péone is located in the French Maritime Alps and borders in the north on Saint-Étienne-de-Tinée , in the east and south on Beuil , in the south and west on Guillaumes in the north-west on Châteauneuf-d'Entraunes (point of contact). In addition to the main settlement, it includes the districts of Les Chardonniers, Le Serre, La Serre, Settene, Le Plan, Alliège, Le Brac, Le Mians, Les Mianouns, Le Parc, Rabius, Fossemagne, Fossemagnette, La Colle, Les Huerris, Le Lagas, La Colle des Amignons, Charvin, En Garets, Aubert.
